2. No Therapist-Client Relationship Formed

Visiting this website, reading its content, sending an email, or submitting an inquiry via the online contact form does not create a therapist-client or confidential clinical relationship between you and Tracey Stracener or Paper Moon Counseling.

A professional therapist-client relationship is formally established only after:

• An initial consultation has been completed to confirm clinical fit and appropriateness for outpatient telehealth;
• We mutually agree to begin psychotherapy;
• You receive, review, and sign our formal Professional Disclosure Statement (PDS), Informed Consent for Treatment, and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices via our secure electronic health records portal.

3. Not a Crisis or Emergency Service

This website, its contact form, and practice email are intended solely for non-urgent consultation requests, scheduling inquiries, and general practice questions. Inquiries are reviewed during standard business hours, typically within 1–2 business days. We do not provide 24/7 crisis monitoring or emergency response services.

4. Telehealth & Geographic Limitations

Tracey Stracener is licensed to practice clinical mental health counseling exclusively by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC). Under North Carolina law and professional ethics codes, counseling services are offered strictly via secure telehealth video to clients who are physically located within the state of North Carolina at the time of each clinical session.

All original text, articles, graphics, logos, and materials published on this website are the property of Paper Moon Counseling and are protected by United States copyright laws.
