Credentials & Verification
Tracey Stracener, LCMHC-S is fully licensed to practice in North Carolina. Everything claimed on this site about her license, education, and clinical training is listed here in one place, alongside a direct link to her record in the state licensing board's own database, so you can check it rather than take our word.

Verify It Yourself
You should not have to take a therapist's website at its word. If you would rather start from the board's own search page than trust a link from us, it takes about thirty seconds.
-
Open the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors verification search.
-
Type S8060 into the License Number field. Leave every other field blank, because one field is enough.
-
Click Search. A single license number matches one record, so the portal opens it directly. You should land on Stracener, Tracey Rose.
Include the S. Searching 8060 without it returns a second, older record marked Transitioned. That is the earlier LCMHC license the supervisor credential replaced in 2022, not a lapsed or disciplined one. The active record is S8060.
